Spinach Ada

Cottage cheese wrapped with spinach and placed on top of pineapple slice. It has an amazing taste and very healthy too.

Ingredients‬:

  1. Spinach leaves, big in size – 12-15
  2. Onion chopped- 1 tablespoon
  3. Cherry tomatoes- 4-5
  4. Grated cheese – 1/3 cup
  5. Grated cottage cheese- 1 cup
  6. Chopped cabbage- 2 tablespoon
  7. Chopped carrot -1teaspoon
  8. Cumin seeds,crushed-1teaspoon
  9. Cinnamon powder -1/2 teaspoon
  10. Red chili powder-1/2 teaspoon
  11. Pineapple, cut in square-4 pieces
  12. Oil- 2 teaspoon
  13. Salt to taste

Recipe‬: Take a bowl and clean spinach leaves properly and keep it a side for drying. Take another small bowl and add cottage cheese or homemade paneer, chopped cabbage, chopped carrot chopped onion, red chili-powder, crushed cumin seeds, cinnamon powder, grated cheese and salt to taste into it. Mix it very well, cheese mixture is ready now. Take a silicon sheet and spread 2 or 3 spinach leaves over it at one time. Spread one teaspoon cheese mixture between spinach leaves and roll it. Make four or five spinach rolls with the same process. Grease a microwave safe plate with oil and keep all rolls over it. Do brushing to all rolls with oil. Micro it for four to five minutes. Take a serving plate and first place the square pineapple pieces. Then place spinach roll pieces over the pineapple pieces. On the top place cherry tomato and serve as a starter.

Do’s: If you want more sour taste then drizzle little drops of lemon juice over it before serving. If you want sweeter then add little drops of honey over it before serving.

Don’t: Don’t overcook.
