About the recipe: Idlis are made from fiber rich whole grains that are nourishing and easily digestible (due to the fermenting process).

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup Semolina/ rawa suji
  2. 1 cup Yogurt (curd)
  3. 1/2cup Water
  4. 1/2teaspoon Soda-bi-carb (mitha soda)
  5. 1tablespoon Curry leaves chopped
  6. ¼ cup Grated coconut (optional)
  7. 1tablespoon Oil
  8. Salt per taste

Recipe:

Take a flat dish and microwave oil for 1 minute. Now add rawa suji mix it well & microwave it for a minute. Add curry leaves and salt in it & mix well.
Allow it to cool. Add coconut, yogurt, water and soda in it. Keep it aside for 10 minutes. Now grease micro proof idli maker & pour mixture in each idli moulds. Microwave for 4minutes. If the idlis appear wet, wait for 5minutes. Usually they get done after giving them 5 minutes standing time.
Serve with coconut chutney & relish your morning #breakfast.

Tip: Don’t open microwave immediately
