  10. 8-10 Mint leaves

Recipe‬:

Take fish in a big bowl and add ½ teaspoon salt, turmeric powder, degi mirch powder, garlic paste and mix them very well. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.

In another small bowl soak mustard and poppy seeds in ¼ cup of hot water. Leave it for 20-25 minutes.

When the seeds become soft, add green chili and grind them to make a smooth paste. Mix curd and mustard poppy paste very well in a bowl. Add ½ teaspoon of mustard oil in curd mixture and again mix it very well.

Add more curd if you want to make the paste consistent. Pour the mustard sauce over the each piece of fish so that fish is completely covered and well soaked with the sauce.

Now grease a baking tray and place properly each piece of fish. Add mint leaves on top. Sprinkle little drops of mustard oil and cover the baking dish with the foil.

Preheat the oven at 200 degrees C and cook fish for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and turn each piece of fish and again cook for 5-7 minutes.

You may also serve it as a #‎starter‬ with mayonnaise or readymade mustard sauce.

If you wish to cook in tandoor, then grill it for about 10-15 minutes only.
